David Reichel: The impact of AI and big data on fundamental rights

The presentation will provide an overview of the work of the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) in the area of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data. The Agency is working on a project that looks into the positive and negative impact that new technologies, including AI and big data, have on the enjoyment of fundamental rights in the EU. Apart from a general overview on the topic, the presentation will focus on the area of non-discrimination and further on issues related to data quality in machine learning.
